Default Free level?

In class today a guy behind me said there is a way to level my truck without buying a leveling kit. He said all i had to do was tighten some nuts. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this or how it is done?

Not on yours, only 02-05 has the free torsion bolt tightening, although I got the leveling kit anyways.

Ok that answers a lot because he has a 2002 dodge. I went to my local performancee shop and they said the leveling kit for my truck was 190 bucks but i found one online for 52 bucks, whats up with that?

There are leveling kits for a lot cheaper than what the performance shops offer, companies online that make them for low cost and sell them for only a little profit, there are even some people that make them just on the side of something else that they do and sell them for really cheap to help out a little.

Look at the quality of the kit, and try to find out the materials used on it as well is your best bet, not cost, but quality. Dont just buy the cheapest one you find, but if you find one thats cheaper but is still built well, then sure, go for that one!
