Default Which Cats fit??

I almost ordered a Magnaflow 23959 because that is what every publication I've found said my truck calls for.

The problem is, when I was under my truck changing the oil tonight I took a look at it. I only have 1 cat, and 2 o2 sensors. Everything lists 3cats and 4 o2 sensors for my truck. Does anyone know where I can get the right part number for my application?

If I was home and had my welder and everything, I probably would. I'm stationd in NJ right now and kinda need something I can "bolt" in place, I'm limited on tools.

Why do you want to remove your cat? Everything I've read about the units used on 3rd gens say that they are already very nonrestrictive, replacing them with another hi-flow unit won't supposedly net you anything.

That's correct. The stock ones flow just fine.

If you put on high flows you might throw a code. When I installed my LT's with the high flows I got a code and had to do the non-fouler trick.

Wow, this came back from no-where. That was for my '02 5.9, not my '06. Anyway, I replaced the cat because it was getting plugged up. That truck is gone now so I guess it doesn't matter anyway. Thanks for the opinions guys.
