I know my dad's friend will pass me no problem, it is just that I don't want to have to take a trip all the way to his shop if I don't have to.

I'm not in an inspection state, but have NO codes whatsoever. Although I'm told the relocation of the cats back about 18" are not up to CARB specs, but most states just worry about having no CEL...

Yeah, in my part of PA they did away with the old sniffer test a while ago. Now they just plug into the OBD II port and check the truck. So all I really have to worry about are codes.

Really for emissions I'd think that they would just care about the cat location. Mine look like they should have been like the way they are now stock and I'm not throwing any cel's. If you are going with the pacesetter y there is plenty of room to make it look good 'stock' and not out of place.

Did you end up sticking with the stock cats for your setup? I remember you saying you were having a hard time finding the magnaflow hi-flows in stock anywhere. If you were still looking there is a place selling them for about $60 a piece. Pretty sure my in-laws are getting a couple of them for me for x-mas. Got to love in-laws who support modding

I would love it if they just did away with this emissions crap once and for all.
