i want to flush my power steering fluid and all fluids and replace them with royal purple.i bought 4 bottles online of the power steering fluid (royal purple max ez psf) and now im hearing that im not supposed to use anything labeled "power steering fluid" and that im only supposed to use automatic transmission fluid atf + 4. did i just waste $25 on rp psf or can i use it??

 

herrrrmmmm i would say the ATF but some 1 els might chime in, that sucks tho, maybe email royal purple n see what they say?

 

royal purple makes an atf fluid but its not atf + 4 , should i use that instead of the power steering fluid i already bought?

 

I just used Mobile 1 ATF+4, Cheaper and the truck still drives great.

 

but i already bought 4 bottle of the rp psf so if i can use it id rather use that but if i cant then ill go get something else

 

If its not open take it back?
