Glad to see that ratchet strap trick worked for you. It can be a real PITA though. I had mine pretty tight and was constantly worried if it was going to pop loose on me.

 

yea, we were ready to head to the hospital if need be. thought for sure it was gona break. we didnt even use it on the pass side. pushed the LCA down enough to push it in. i could have never done it myself. i put a level on the top of the bed rail in the garage and it was close to perfectly level, but it has seemed to settle down a bit already after driving about 30 miles.

 

ive never seen a red and tan 2 tone like that, i like it. time for a 2 tone truck club

 

yea, i was thinking about making one, but i havent seen to many on here. there is actually a red/tan 08 2500 CTD QC at the dealership here in town right now. i had seen one other one around town and i guess thats the one. ive looked online and havent been able to find anything about the color combo.
