Default Hellas & HIDS

I did a search on this but maybe I'm looking in the wrong area. Anyways, I'm installing my HIDs today and when I put the hid bulbs in my Hellas (550ff) the bulb touches the housing/reflector (?). It won't go in all the way. I remember Silver talking about it that someone had to do a little trimming. I need a little help-either an answer or link. Thanks

Maybe I should restate my issue. The reflector in front of the bulb is where my hid bulb hits. Thanks Silver

Got both kits from HidExtra. H3 kit for the Hellas. Bulb is about 1/4" to long. Also got the Bi-Xenon kit for the headlights. Not sure if I like it or not. Seem they work then don't. Not sure what I'm doing or what. Followed the destructions and ....When the highs are on, I get a little humming noise from the bulbs. On dim, no hum. Correct?

I think I answered my question about the hi/low position. I looked at hidextras picture and it shows the low in the middle and hi slighlty offset. That might explain the slight humming.

Talk about customer service...I e-mailed HIDExtra last night about my concerns and I got a response already. Thanks. My issues were self inflicted with the re-lighting. As for fitting the bulbs in the Hellas, thats todays project. Nice sunny day, a tad cold-in Michigan. Wheres my snow? Oh yes, its in the south....?
