And I got to ask, your giving advice about wheeling, while driving a lowered truck????? I mean, nice truck, dont get me wrong, that is a very nice looking truck, but we arent "haters" because we try to tell him what is and what isn't. I have been wheeling from the day I got my license, and the best vehicle I ever had for wheeling, wasnt even lifted, it was a nissan pathfinder with tires that were as big as the thing could fit with all the fenders shaved. Short wheelbase=more mobility, that is all we were trying to tell him, not that he "couldnt go wheeling" but to just be smarter about it, he came on the site to see what people would say about it, not to have someone blow sunshine up his a$$ and tell him to go DO IT AGAIN!!! it will be fine!
he was just playin, bro. relax.

Boy this sure got heated!
Bottom line is- If you're wheeling (2wd or 4wd) You're most likely to break somthing or scratch somthing. It sucks but thats somthing that goes hand in hand with wheelin and you gotta deal with it.

Not insulting anyone- but the majority of the trucks on here are what you guys call "Pavement Queens" which i can respect. But it all comes down to what you enjoy doing. I like to 4wheel, and i'm smart about it. But once i clean and detail it- It looks just as good as the day I bought it.. If not better.

You guys all are saying how long beds are horrible off road-
Well a quadcab 6ft bed is basically as long as a regular cab? (Quadcab 6ft bed is what a majority of you guys own on here)
I've drove both types and they are basically the same for turning and aren't much different when it comes to driving off-road..

Just my 2 cents...

but you compare a qc shortbed to a qc lb?? And I think the rc long bed is still longer than a qc shortbed if I am correct...

And the reason why I hate it when people tell someone that its all ok and to go do it again is because I have seen the a-holes that do that and guess what always happens to the other party if they listen to that person, they get screwed and I am just trying to help.

Nah I wasnt comparing anything with a QC LB- sorry if i was confusing.

I've lined up my RC LB to my buddies QC SB and maybe mines a bit longer but realisticly its not that much of a difference when it comes to 4 wheeling.

I agree, and there is a reason why I dont wheel my rig, my truck is a pavement queen, and its lifted at least a couple of inches and has 35's.

I use it for the sand, mud if I have to, and snow, So I do utilize the 4wd and the 35's, but I dont go trail wheeling. I may even sometimes run a mudhole just for fun. But trails are out of the question for me, I dont want scratches from branches and I dont want to hurt anything from coming down on something like a log, rock, or anything that I might make a serious mistake on.
