Are you saying that there is no fluid in your trans?

Where did you get your trans fluid exchange done?

So if I understand you got a fluid flush about 4 weeks ago and now your trans fluid is leaking excessively under your truck and now you are out of fluid and your trans is slipping???

Did they remove the pan?

Did they put in the proper fluid ATF+4?

Just some missing info on the "entire situation"

Hmmm....... Pyro just had a tranny service done on a perfectly good working unit, they flushed it and within a week the thing was dead. Now if it were that close to going, you'd think the place woulda said something when they had it open?

Now I'm starting to think maybe a drain and filter change might just be the ticket. Thinkin the flush might just be the devil!!!

It wouldn't be the first time that the flush has been the problem. When I do mine on this and my previous trucks I just drop the pan, change the filters and fill her back up.

i got the transmission fluid flushed at my mechanics. i dont believe they removed the pan. now it is leaking all over the bottom. hardly any left .

i didnt think to check the fluid level until it started slipping and the check engine light came on. i just had it done and wouldnt have seen any reason to check it.

so dodgenitto u are right- mechanics flushed the trans oil, now its leaking horribly, very very low trans oil left in it, transmission slipping/burning smell , check engine lights on.

yeah my dad said to never touch an automatic transmission unless it has very high mileage. my uncle said the same thing, and he use to race stock cars and is very mechanically inclined. we its a hell of a time to tell me now
