Default A/T 30? Muffler

I have a 08 hemi and was looking into buying the A/T 30(could be the wrong number) I believe it is muffler, I know alot of guys on here have it. I was wondering if I just remove the stock muffler and leave the resonator on and weld in the new one will it noticeably change the sound? I don't want flowmaster loud but a little rumble. I have heard the clips posted over the summer but am looking to maybe do this mod over the christmas holiday. I just don't want it to sound stupid with the mds and such any help is great thanks.

yes, you can just put it in place of the stock muffler. that cost me about $40-50 for a shop to do for me. but if you are just looking for a little rumble, you might want to consider the AT3030XL. it is the resonated version. i run the regular AT3030 and it is LOUD! it doesnt drone like a flowmaster, it sounds really nice and aggressive. but i can set off car alarms along the street with it.

You can listen to my vids in the above post. It is the AT3030XL (resonated version). I simply had the shop cut the old muffler out and replace it with the new one and left the resonater in place. It has a very nice low rumble, especially when you get on it. At idle, you can barely tell the difference from the stock muffler.

I had the Flowmaster 40 with the stock reasonator on until a few months ago. Then I replaced the FM with the AT3030XL and left the stock reasonator on also. I like the sound...not too loud with a nice rumble when you get on it.
Shop charged me $40 and kept my FM muffler.

Is a good choice for you. One of the few mufflers out there that doesn't seem to have that annoying drone on MDS equipped Hemi trucks.

Thanks for the help guys, I had an 05 Dakota that I put dual magnaflows on and that was the route I was going with my 08 but I love the look of the single and saw how many guys like the AT3030 and so I asked I hope I can get ahold of one in the next week so I can have it put on while at home, I don't have a garage or any amount of tools where I live now. Trying to buy a house with a garage for these applications.

I ordered mine through Verocious Motorsports.

http://www.verociousmotorsports.com/

Their prices weren't bad and it took them about four or five days to get it to me. Any local muffler shop should be able to install it for you for less than fifty bucks. I think you'll like the AT3030XL
