I just removed a FM 40 series american thunder. It was nice on the throttle and quiet at idle. Just installed a FM super 40 With dual 2.5 outlets, side exit (until i have the cash to run the pipes out the back), and it is really nice. Might make a vid soon and youtube it. I will provide a link. Nice sound that i was looking for and decent cost. Muffler, pipes, install less than 200.

You need this http://www.performancepeddler.com/de...CT_ID=MAG12289
Put it in the place of your stock muffler.

Did you get the new stainless steel super 40? After my rustmaster falls apart im gunna get the new stainless flow. I like the magnaflows flow but their just too quiet for my liking. I wish the flowmaster was a little louder but then I just WOT it and I'm happy as can be.

i bought a magnaflow that i retrofitted to fit exactly where the exhaust was. so it was a huge muffler, but it was the best one i ever bought. had a little rumble and no drone on the highway. i've gone through em all, right now i have a dynomax thats too loud for my liking and it drones horribly on the highway. the flowmaster 50 wasnt too bad, but a larger magnaflow is exactly what your looking for

Performance peddler has some really good prices, my wife got me some magnaflow cats from them for like $50 a piece.

Yeah, I got my whole 16700 cat back that list for $608 for $416 shipped to my door. I don't know how they do it. Even Planet Magnaflow was more expensive.

I was thinking of a American Thunder system. Why did you remove it? Do you have any sound clips from that?

I bought a 3" in dual 2.5" out and wanted to put it on before I forgot about it. I had the pipes run out the side before the rear tire. I love the sound of it now. Might not run the pipes out the back later. I buy the muffler and have a local shop custom bend the pipes. I have noticed kits not lining up properly so I would rather have the pipes custom bent. I will be getting some sound clips soon.
