my rig had a boo boo.
well last week i was driving to my house after a nice dinner with my girlfriend. my driveway has a telephone pull less than a foot away from it on the left side. i pulled into my driveway, talking to my gf and not paying attention and cut the turn too short sideswiping the pole. my heart dropped into my stomach when i heard the crunch and i got out to assess the damage. the middle of my front driver's side door to the end of my back door was crunched in so badly, you would have thought i got hit by a semi. i had never been in an accident before and i didn't have a scratch on the damn thing. anyway, i called the insurance company and they hooked me up nice, $100 off my deductable and no rise in my premium. brought it to a highly praised collision shop and got it back in two days all brand new, they did a phenominal job. they had to put two new doors on the driver's side and when i went to pick it up, they took another $100 off of what i had to pay. total amount = $2,750 and i paid $300. i'm just glad no one got hurt. i'll try and get some pics in here soon, the pics are on my blackberry and i'm not really computer savvy.

ouch, thats the bad thing about having a newer rig. I will have a old beater for jumping hills and doing some offensive driving in. I mean really, when someone does something that puts them in a position to be hit, instead of avoiding it I may as well hit them.
Just curious, how much is a door? The front one?
