megacab snowplow?
As long as it is properly installed it should not void the warranty. Keep in mind the extra weight on the front may accelerate front suspension component wear and that will not be covered under warranty because the plow was a direct result of the short part life. Hopefully someone else can chime in.
Yeah I think it should be ok its pretty beefy for a 1500 and if you go to snow plow manf. sites they have 1500 megas listed but that doesnt mean dodge agrees. I hope someone has put one on theirs and can give me a info.
like hemiguy said, 1500mega=2500. only time it would void warranty is if the added stress from the plow caused the failure the 2500 is built to handle a plow, go for it.
I was also wondering if the plow makes it squat to much can i put 2500 springs on it since it is 2500 chassis.

Yeah I was gonna mention that as well. Throw in the 2500 springs too. Now would be a good time for a level too but regardless level or no level some quality replacement shocks like a rancho or bilstein should be used to help tame all that extra weight on the front keeping your ride a bounce free as possible.
I've got a 2" leveling kit but still running the stock shocks. I don't know if the 2500 springs are a direct fit or if i need to get something else. A friend said i should try some bags but I'm not too sure about those.
First things first...do you have lifetime powertrain warranty and did your truck have plow prep package. If yes to both then you can put a plow on with no problem. If you don't have plow prep then the dealer will want to void your warranty even though the truck is built for plowing. I would get the plow you want (8 foot minimum due to length of truck) and see how much it sags the front. You can then do heavier springs, air bags or the best option, Timbrens.
