Default these any good?

hey guys and gals, in the market for some new tires and want to get rid of the factory junk. i've been looking for an aggressive looking tire that's not gonna drain my bank account. anyway, i came across the cooper zeon ltz's and was wondering if anyone had them or knows anything about them. i've done some research and read some reviews and everyone who has them pretty much likes them. i had goodyear wranger silent armors on my '05 and they were great, they are just too damn expensive. i can get these coopers for about $180 a piece, my uncle owns a tire/repair shop and may be able to get them for even less. what you think?

A lot of guys run the Cooper's on here and have great reviews. The two main tires guys run on here it seems IMO is The Nitto's and Coopers. Both have a lot of following. Nothing wrong with those tires at all, it also depends on if you off road at all. The cooper doesn't have AS aggressive a tread as maybe the Toyo's or Nitto's. Hope it helps. Not a bad tire though.

thanks man. definately helped. i don't do too much off-roading so it shouldn't be an issue. thanks again.

I have a 5.9 Cummins Dodge 2500 HD 4x4. The OEM tires were Michelins. Gotta tell you they were as hard as a week-old carp with diabolical wet-weather traction. Bought Zeon LTZs and the Cooper's tires are everything the Michelins weren't: Made in USA, quiet, smooth, and cool-looking. But the ride ... Wow. I used to have to check my fillings after driving on our 'wonderful' Oklahoma roads with the truck before the switch. Gotta tell you, love my truck even more with the Zeon LTZ tires. Worth a serious look!
