^^ good advice. Ive heard a few basstubes, but I didnt know if they wired up the same as a regular amp/sub or what. So he would just tap into, say, his cig lighter, or his 12v plugin source, and tap into the speakers? Using the same converter as mentioned above, or......

I don't have too much interest in ever using one, but I like to learn, and this may be good for the op to know....... Thanks Albert

The one I used to run was just run off a plug in cigarette lighter and spliced off the positive and negative speaker wire. I'll post a pic if I can find it.

this might sound like a dumb question. but if i run the PAC converter off the rear speaker, wont i get vocals out of the sub and not bass. or does the PAC take care of that.

also i was thinking of getting the infinity basslink II. anyone have any feedback on the basslink?
