More MPG, 05 Ram 1500 5.7L
I thought you already had one weed. Let us know how you like it and if you need any help.
I dont think it will be hard installing. The fan wiring itself is simple and the controller directions are easy. The controller I bought at Advance Auto and is Hayden/Imperial electronic fan controller (PN:3647).
Red is 12v constant
Black is ground
Yellow is 12v switched or 12v constant if you want it to run after the truck is off to continue to cool until the tstat shuts it down
Green is the AC override
Orange goes to the fan. Because I have a dual speed fan I will make this a quick disconnect so i can use the lower or higher speed if needed.
Blue i will not use as I dont have dual fans.
So as you can see, thats not hard at all.
Rrider (OP), if you need any help dont hesistate to ask

Yea that's the same one I used, shown in the fordmuscle link I posted earlier, I just had to get a separate relay b/c I'm running my fan on high.
A bosch relay won't hold up for very long. I run a Stinger SGP38 relay. Much larger and heavy duty. You can find them on ebay for $20.
As far as quick disconnects, if you use them on the high speed side, you may find them fused together when you go to disconnect them.
