On the drive to my parents.
Going to my parents this morning for Christmas and I hit a patch of black ice. I was doin about 35 in 6th gear with the engine lugged down. The back end slid out from underneath me and I started goin sideways down the highway, heading for the ditch. I was lucky enough and got it corrected enough to take it straight into the ditch and not sideways into the ditch and to risk it rolling the truck. It was scary but my wife and daughter are safe.
Glad Y'all ok. Yesterday we got snow and ice here in tx, and i was driving slowly across a bridge when the person behind got pissed that I was going slow and sped up in the next lane, and lost control on the ice right behind me. I had to speed up just so they didnt hit the back of me. I hate ice, and lucky we dont have it that often.
Yep, hit the house yesterday. Its been a rough couple days on the Dodge. Whats bad is tomorrow Im supposed to go to the city to pick up a bedliner, scored a deal on a factory bedliner for 25 bucks.
Let the wife drive, funny. Nah, but really she won't drive in inclement weather.
As far as the truck The quarter panel in front of the back right wheel is pushed in maybe a 1/2in. I had to look at it with the other side several times to tell. It was full of snow on the back side so I'll take care of it in the morning.

Here is what it looked like after the truck was out. The tracks on the left are where I went sliding in. The engine bay was packed full of snow.
