I bought mine from the classifieds on this board and over on DT. That link you got is full retail price and can be bought anywhere.

i bought a 3815 new from here for $239 w/shipping.

they're up some from then, but are still listed at 269-289.

if you buy one used, ask the seller point blank - did you personally uninstall the tune from your truck and return it to stock?
if they don't know what you're talking about, then don't buy it.

some people think they can resell the programmer, and don't understand the VIN lock process.
other people buy them at yard sales and have no idea how they work. all of those are VIN locked and useless.

3815s are all day around 200+/-

3865s are a different story. You gotta find a used one first and thats the problem. Is no one using DSP to tune anymore?

The OP needs to post yr/mk/mo of his rig.

Based on his name I am going to assume that he has an 07 hemi. If that is the case, stick with the 3865 so you can get the new features when they are released.
