Default wiring for brights and fog lights together

I am trying to wire my trucks headlight so when i put the brights on my fog lights wont go off. I want my fog lights to be on regardless if i have my low or hight beams on. can someone send me steps on how to do this and how hard it is to do it. I have a 2008 Ram 1500 thank you

Word is the dealership can flash it for you. Whether they're willing to can vary by dealer.

Check local laws too, it is illegal in places.

I thought someone did a DIY on rewiring to accomplish this, but I cant find it I will keep looking!

easiest way is to check with your dealer or you can go though the headache of rewiring them. they can do it as long as it's not against state law and they are willing, the dealer here won't do it even though it's legal.

I actually need to figure out why my fogs won't go on when I installed my HID kit.

OP - what you are talking about was do-able on the 02-05s. Everyone is right about having to have the dealership program that in IF they will do it.

Yeags777 - thats a whole different issue.

Start a thread on it, Im more than sure you have them wired up wrong and not getting power or ground

ok Hammer I found it! what happened to the FAQ section it used to be about 3 pages? Now you have to really search for sh*t lol
