Default Side steps

I've been looking into purchasing some kind of steps to put on my truck but I continue to get mixed reviews on what style I should go with on my truck. I've thought about putting the chrome nerf bars on it, or going with the black plastic kind that stay flush with the body (for whatever reason they are more expensive than the nerf bars.) Some think the truck would look good with the chrome nerf bars since it has the 20" chrome clad wheels and chrome emblems. Others think I shouldn't draw that much attention to the steps and go black because the truck is predominantly black. I'd consider black nerf bars but usually they rust and I don't want to deal with that. What do you guys think would look best on my truck??

i have black bars and i like them alot. they dont draw too much attention but look great when you do actually do notice them. i think what i have would look best for your truck. i'm not a chrome-hater, i like chrome in moderation but for your truck it looks killer as it is with only the wheels in chrome and everything else blacked out. i'd say stick with that. i got my bars on ebay for like $150 or something. they're powder-coated aluminum not plastic, and i have zero complaints.

Hilarious!
I think the Chrome ones would look good on yours. It is something small that would stand out and go along with the wheels.

those are either the kodiak sidewinders (individual steps per door) or the bestop power steps (power bar per side). they'll run you about $1300 installed, i was going to get these myself but ended up getting a body lift and needed a way to hide the frame. but they're definately awesome

Hmm it's a tough call....I do like the look of your truck and steps a lot though xill. Seems like it's kind of a split preferance so either way I guess I can't go wrong. Ebay has the chrome ones shipped for $150 as well, so it's going to come to just taste. Black won't stick out really but the function will be there. Chrome will stick out and have the function, but might block my truck's **** as the cop says in Super Bad lol.

its actually about the same they run $1300-$1500 depending where you get them, but if you buy from a place that will also install then it's usually included in the price. same places that sell camper shells, bedliners, and brush guards also carry these power steps. but if you just want to do it yourself, then add the price of beer
