yeah, from that picture either you got really tiny tires or there is more going on there than a level kit. You really need to keep those CV axles parallel to the ground...

edit after CV pic: Yeah they are up but not bad as I've ever seen...

They are just a little steeper than mine, but your shock is about fully extended mine does not look like that.

are you sure the bolts are at factory settings?

My Uncle owned the truck before my father and I'm pretty sure neither of them touched the bolts prior to us putting the kit in.

yeah, your shocks are extended, longer ones will do you up. the cv angle is a tad high, but nothing extreme.

If I'm not mistaken, 4 Wheel Parts has the Pro Comp shocks buy 3 get 1 free still. The 9000 is a good nitrogen shock and with the deal run about $30 each. If you call, they have a cross reference database, tells them which model shock depending on lift height. I did that when I lifted my Jeep 2"

They aren't a Bilstein 5100 or Rancho 9000 by any means, but they ain't $90 a shock either...

maybe try backing them down a couple turns just to feel the difference, but it should not be that rough

We just backed the bolts down and dropped the front about a half inch, there's a night and day difference. It rides fine now, maybe somewhere along the line someone tried to raise the front a little by tightening those bolts, I'll have to ask my Uncle if he ever did that.

Would you still recommend getting new shocks?

Even if it rides better know, you will wear your stock shocks out much faster due to the extended travel. Most who have left them on also report "bottoming out" on articulation.

You will be amazed at the difference in the ride quality with even just a marginal aftermarket shock absorber. The stock shocks really are rather cheazy even at normal ride height.

If the ride quality is acceptable right now, you could get by with yours, but if the $ is there for it, I would go ahead and replace them...

Hammer, those are the exact one I have on my truck and the leveling kit is by procomp als-o and it rides just fine.

jroy, get the longer shocks and you should be good to go.
