remote start wiring questin
OMG weed..WTF is that?
When I do an eleectrical install, I group all the wires that will not be needed and ziptie them together. Then I group and ziptie all the wires I will be using to a shorter useable length so to keep them neat and together. THEN you start connecting the wires. If you connect the wires before you make the wires pretty, it will be too late and the wires will be all intertangled with each other....just like you've got

Hopefully your headlights aren't looking anything like that during their intermission???...lol

I think some of the newer RS/Alarm systems capable of plugging into the CAN Bus system. This greatly reduces the amount of wiring needed since really all the thing does is communicate the command to the Body Control system. This is especially true for 06 or newer vehicles.
