When I do an eleectrical install, I group all the wires that will not be needed and ziptie them together. Then I group and ziptie all the wires I will be using to a shorter useable length so to keep them neat and together. THEN you start connecting the wires. If you connect the wires before you make the wires pretty, it will be too late and the wires will be all intertangled with each other....just like you've got.
Hopefully your headlights aren't looking anything like that during their intermission???...lol

damn weed i don't know how you keep track of what your doing what you've done and what's to do! i don't know how you have the know how to deal with all that mess.

Hey now............that was just a pic WHILE I was working on it, not after it was all finished. Believe me, everything is zip tied, labled and secured. I used to have a MECP for 4 yrs before I let it go.

Ive had my truck apart in so many different ways and at so many different times that its really not funny.

BUT.............

the PA 3" BL will be here this week...............anyone wanna help?

much respect for undertaking the alarm yourself.theres nothing better than doing somthing like what you did.and man thats alot of wires.i just bought th AVITAL 4301 REMOTE START ALARM and the directed electronics door lock interface module.
According to 12volt thats all i need.so i will begin the install saturday morning.any help or advice would be appreciated.one more thing.i have the regular black key with factory power locks and panic.

I think some of the newer RS/Alarm systems capable of plugging into the CAN Bus system. This greatly reduces the amount of wiring needed since really all the thing does is communicate the command to the Body Control system. This is especially true for 06 or newer vehicles.
