Default Tune up when you get your used truck!!!

If you look at the attachments, that is part of the reason everyone on here says You should do a full tune up. I've changed all my fluids and run quality synthetics. Finally after about 18,000 miles of having my truck, my lazy a** finally got around to the plugs. There was pretty much nothing left of 'em. This is a reason you should learn from me, and change all your fluids AND PLUGS when you get a used vehicle. I believe these are the original plugs!!!!!

Yeah, they looked like hell, nothing left of 'em. I was surprised it ran as good as it did.
and the truck has about 97,000 miles.

Must be why the manual calls for 30K on the plugs

That's exactly why they recommend that. apparently noone that owned it before me either knew how to read or bothered to look into doing it. It's night and day now. There's actually a lot of power in the 4.7. I had no idea.

You would be amazed how many people have never even opened their owners manual. I always read mine, lots of good info in there.

How hard is it to change the plugs in an 04 4.7?

For a mechanical retard like me that is.
