Default Front Leveling Kit

Does anyone know if I can crank on the stock bolt on the keys to increase the height of the front? I know about the kits that swap out the keys and shocks but was wondering if I could do it with the stock ones. If it were to work I would get new shocks. I was looking at the stock ones and it looks like there is room to do a couple turns on the bolt to raise it up. I have 32.75" tires on there now and want to get up to 35"s. Oh yeah, I have an 03 1500 quad cab 4.7 4x4.

Read and learn:

And yes, 35s will fit, but fitting and being functional are two different things...

I got a shop to do my old 03 QC 4x4 for about $100. It turned out really well and I got the lift I was looking for. All they did was tighten the torsion bars. Got me 2-2.5"

You actually PAID someone to get under your truck with a socket and crank the bolts a couple of turns? $100 no less? I must be getting old...

Hammer -Thanks for the info.
JJ -I am assuming that they measured the height before putting it up on the jacks and raising each side.

I figured the ride would be a little rough but wouldn't longer shocks help that out a little?

Mullet - do a search, there are a few step by steps on leveling, I know I've posted it a time or two myself. Not sure but check the FAQ section as well.

JJ - just bustin' your cookies...

Thanks Hammer, I am doing that now. I need new to get new tires and just wanted to know my options without having to put on a lift kit.
