Default stero system help

First i have a newer alpine HU cant remember what model off the top of my head!, i use to have the thunderform mtx 10"s with built in amp but sold them to a friend.

well now with tax time i want something better i have searched on here for different topics but cant seem to find exactly what i am looking for!!

I want a system that sounds good with everything from rock, hip hop, country, etc!! but want something that hits harder then the 10s i had, have been looking at the alpine type r's , just cant seem to find the right box for them also can get a smoking deal on some JL Audio 10w6 but i am not sure if they will fit under the seat??? looking to spend $1000 or less???

anyone got any ideas???

w6's wont fit under the back seat. best bet is to either get a fox box under the back seat and fit two type r's or but a jl stealth box with one 10 w0 or biuld your own. Here's my setup.

id say the first sealed box. bandpass boxes are very complicated and need to be perfectly tuned to the sub etc or they sound bad. the box itself is very small with no airspace which is the reason i built my own with around 1.5 cu ft for each sub. the more air the better but not too big. The type R's are what i have, make sure you get a DUAL 2ohm voice coil sub that way you can wire both subs to one amp at a 2ohm. If you are new to audio it may sound complicated but it really isn't. For the amp, get the alpine mrp-m1000. The reason i have two mrp-m500 is becuase I had one amp and one sub at one point and didnt feel like everything. it will be way less than $1000 just buy off of onlinecarstereo.com
