you are correct - also, the center pin heads are different sizes... 1500's = 9/16", 2500's = 3/4".

If you want stiffer go with an add-a-leaf. My friends truck has a cap and 'custom' tool shelves in the back that add a lot of weight. He put some add-a-leafs in (well technically... he bought beer and I installed them). Go with an aftermarket shock, they tend to have stiffer valving than the factory 'car like ride' shocks...

I guess I'll ad to this mess that appears nobody reads through completely. 2500 springs WIL NOT fit on 1500's for the 3rd gen trucks. if you were to get them to fit, the ride quality would be horrendous and the back end of your truck would be bouncing all around and feel like your riding on wagon wheels.

I seen a fantastic deal on a used lift kit for a F-150. maybe i can make it fit the ram because it's such a good deal.
WAKE-UP and get the proper stuff for your vehicle peoples.

So then what's so special about a Big Horn? I was told it was a 1500 w/ the heavier running gear.

Ok so it wont work, ****ty. Anyone here running airbags and what brand? The only reason I would rather go add a leaf over airbags is cause I thought it would suck for articulation in the rear offroad?

If you go add a leaf go with a full length one.

Default Would 2003 leaf springs fit on a 2010?

So I found one of my leaf springs is broke and I have a 2010 ram 2500. I didn’t know if the leaf springs have changed since around 2003? I found a set in a junkyard that are off a 2003 2500. Wanted to get some feedback on this.
