Default Hello all....First Ram, First post....

Hey Guys,
Just picked up my first Ram on New Years Eve.
07 QC, Hemi, 4wd, Bighorn, tow package, LSD, 3.92 gears, heated tow mirrors, 20x9 chrome wheels, YES cloth 40/20/40 bench, inferno red, 16300 miles.
I got a good deal on it cuz it has a few dings and dents.
One on the chrome bumper. Does anyone know a place where I can get one ressonably priced? Or should I just ebay or junkyard search?
One dent on the pass. fender which I had my DPR guy take out.
And another one on the hood. It looks like the garage door fell on it or something. Not awful, but noticeable.
I figure I can go a couple ways with the hood.
1) Take it to a body shop and get it fixed.
2) junkyard search
3) get a replacement OE hood and get it painted
4) take it apart and try to fix it myself
5) save up and get a fully functional ram air hood with ram air box
Whatcha think? And why? vendor suggestions?

Also, I love the way the truck runs, but Im curious about something.
Right around highway speed when I get it up to 60-65, Ill let off a little on the gas and I will feel like a shudder. Is that the MDS? Its kind of hard to explain, but it feels almost like a truck would feel after a lift and bigger tires without a regear.
Also, Ive been reading about the Hemi tick. Mine doesnt have that, but there is a hum. Anyone? probly normal, but Id like to check with you guys.
Im sure some of these things might seem a little strange to me cuz its my first "bigger type" truck. (Ive had 3 2wd rangers that were provided from work) I might just need to give it time and learn how to drive it properly.

But since Im here and its my first post, Im hoping you guys can help me out with some newbee questions. Look forward to any and all help.
Thanks.

BTW, ill post some pics tomorrow.

Nice truck you found. Guys love the tow mirrors around here so that will get you some cool points for sure. As for finding the parts you need, youve got all the right ideas but dont forget about Craigslist, ebay and the forums here on this board and Dodge Talk.

the studder you talk about would be the MDS with an 07. You can get a tuner and delete it. Ask around and see how some of the other guys like it. I almost traded mine for an 08 a long time ago but backed out because of the MDS. But back then I also didnt know they were working to be rid of it.

No tick is a good sound. Im really sure the older DRs like mine had it but with longer pushrods most of us were able to get rid of it.

I love the classifieds and if you have some extra funds you will learn to like it also.

Not the best pics, but the best I could do on short notice. This is at the DMV. I tried to include a pic of the damage to the hood. Its not really all that noticeable, but I know its there and it will bother me every time I look at it.
