yea, a wire harness is usually specific for your HU...maybe a clarion to clarion or pioneer to pioneer, but not different brands and not upgraded or downgraded features

What you need is a dodge to universal adapter, they cost about 6 bucks, you can get em online but best buy usually has em in stock

It's easier to just go down to radio shack or best buy or ANY car audio place and pick up the universal adapter for the dodge. It'll plug into your factory dodge harness but you will have to get some butt connectors and attach the wires from the harness to whatever radio you have. It's real easy and they're all labeled on the new harness and should be labeled on your radio wires. Just match 'em up and your good to go.

You can get em off ebay, but its way easier just to drive to a best buy and pick one up, shipping from ebay can take awhile.

Is the infinity and stock harness the same? I know the Infinity system has the extra amp, but does the harness still fit into the radio end?

If you purchase from Cruthfield, they will send you everything you need to install the headunit, FOR FREE!!! I priced out a new Headunit for my truck its something like 150 - 200 bucks whatever it was, and they were going to send me 52 dollars worth of free isntallation equipment.

I guess if you are asking if you need one then you arent good with wiring because you can install without one if you know where to get your power and grounds from. The rest is either RCAs or speaker wire.
