well, othier option is booth the dealer and I drive down the price of booth truucks to the point of being worthless. I know some where in is this process, thiers no getting away from the base price, or bottom line, othier sneaky bit that allways adds to the price is tax's, admin fees, dealer prep fee's, ect ect.

I doubt if I have much buying power, ie returning customer, serviced my truck at sellers dealership. If I could buy direct from Dodge, I would.

Othier item that is bugging me, is the dealers trucks allway cost more than what I can build online, on dodge's website, they clearly state MSRP, at the dealer thiers all the optioned trucks with options I don't want.

ST SXT SLT do not come with factery fog lights, I want fog lights

TRX and Laramie come with fog lights, But I don't want the 410 rear end on the TRX, nor do I want the fancey base raido on the laramie, But I want leathier seats and the wheel flairs.

Less paint options on SLT, can't get two tone paint, two tone paint on the Laramies don't jazz me up.

And ya, the after market can add wheel flairs and fog lights but I'm not paying etra to add on.

SLT should have fogs...but sounds like with your specifications that the TRX4 is your best bet...and its opposite here, the build online is thousands over than MSRP at the dealership

ya, appearnce wise, the trx is the best bet, but, I will never go off road and I don't need the 410 rear end, and I like my chrome, a 6sp man 373 with a ctd will give me torque than I have ever had in a truck.

I taken a harder look at the 2500 crew, now I'm pretty sure the cab is identical to a 1500 Ram crew and on the 2500 the wheels are tucked tighter in the wheel wells than on the 3rd gen 2500, or the wheel flares trick me.

side profiles on the 4rth gen Ram look a lot like a ford, not a new ford, but a lot like the 2002 super duty ford, I would bet a non truck person would take the forth gen as a ford, with out the dodge badging

I think my topper may fit on a 2010 ram 2500 8 foot box but no more patriot blue, all the crap back up sensors, sun roof nav sytem rwd defogger do not impress me.

the 8 foot box has made a bit of a come back over the 6.5, even in a crew cab model, I'm a die hard with my 8 foot box and manual trans..
