There is a new "ultra" version. It's the 9007 series that fits, at least for my year model. They are not offered on my employee page but I did email to ask about them. However, the 9007ST's are offered and still say they are 100% of the brightest halogen legally available. If I can't get the ultras, I'm going to get the ST's. 30 bucks a pair for me. But, they'll probably charge me 20 bucks to ship them. LOL. If they do, I'll just buy somewhere else.

I use the Silverstar H13 (fits the 08 Ram) in the headlights and The Silverstar Ultra (SU) in the fog lamps. Very bright, white light. They don't make the ultras for my head lamps or I would have them in mine.

How long have you had them? I am seeing a lot of reviews that they don't last long at all, under a year then they need to be replaced.

Just ordered a set of the 9700ST's through my company for my headlamps. They don't have anything for me right now to fit my fogs but that's okay. $35 shipped not bad I guess. I'll keep the oem's in my toolbox (when I get it) for spares.

I had the Silverstars for my headlights, and while they are better than regular halogen bulbs, they’re not worth the $50/pair that they cost, seeing as they only last about a year. Right now, I have the Silverstar Ultra’s in my foglights, and even though they are supposed to last longer than the regular Silverstar’s, I’m waiting for them to burn out.

If you’re just trying to change the headlights, it’s a lot easier and quicker just to do it without taking the headlights out.
