Default Headlight and stock fog light bulbs

I was looking at the PIAA Extreme White Plus for replacement Headlight bulbs and for the stock fog light bulbs. Anyone have them and are the any good, do you notice a difference? Are there any other bulbs I should be looking at without putting a dent in the wallet, just looking to do the bulbs.

How much are the Silver Stars? I should get an employee discount because my company is the parent company of Sylvania. Don't see them listed on our discounts page though. Hell, I got a provider employee discount on the whole damn truck. You'd think I could get a break on the lightbulbs. LOL

Wow, I take it back, I just checked and now we can buy the Silverstars through the employee store. Looks like 30 bucks a pair. Is that a good price over retail? Anyone know how to find the right part numbers for my model?

(sorry, didn't mean to hijack this thread)

PiAA's are right around $70 a pair give or take a few bucks. I know for the 03 they are 9007 for the headlamps and 9006 for the fogs.

Cheaper and according to some articles on the web, better. To quote one "Sylvania Silverstars are not going to give you the light output of a BMW but are the next best thing even compared to PIAA".

I'd love to have something brighter on low beam because I like to run my fog lights and they go out when I switch to high beam.

I like the Hella bulbs but I use their 100 watt (off road) for headlights and 80 watt (off road) for fogs. Have not had to replace bulbs for over four years.
