Default Reverse Sliping and Idle Rising

Hey guys any info would be great.

Since i got my truck going on 3 years this August my truck sometimes slips out of reverse into neutral. Any Answers.

And also for a few weeks now when i start my truck know matter what time of the day it is, my RPM's rise to about 1500, then drop down to 600 and it does this constently for a few minutes. Any ideas on what the problem would be????

the RPM change could mean a vacuum leak. not too sure my old dakota use to do it at idle.
