my favorite person in the world knocked at my door. up you guess mr ups got my hella and my 100w bulbs but of course i got a question and i did search and i did find but i didnt understand so please help me out

before anyone says anything i think weed adn teacher explained how to do this but im a little slow when it comes to relays and numbers and wiring.
so if you guys could please explain a little more or so a picture that would be better.


ok here is the bigger question. is it possible to hook up hellas to you highs and still be able to turn them on and off whenever you want with the switch in the cab and still have them flash when you lock the door.

i have a set of hid with no hi beam currently to im thinking if the hellas are hooked up i can use them when i flash my hi and if i wanted to run them when my head lights are on still be able to.

I tried to do what you are talking about, hooking them into the highs. But they pulled too much wattage and it turned that bulb off, I am guessing to be safe, and then I had to unhook the battery to get it to come back on. I never really got an answer why this happened, so I just cut my losses and went from there.

There are several ways to do this and here is how.

To come on with the high beams

1. Take the high beam wire and tap it to pin 85.
2. Take a wire and go from 86 inside the cab and connected to one side of a switch.
3. From the other side of the switch, go to ground.
4. Take a main power wire from the battery and go to pin 30.
5. Take another main power wire and go to pin 87.

This way with the switch closed the ground is provided to the relay coil and will turn on the coil which will turn on the lights (only with high beams on). With the switch open

To come on with the fogs and flash with the lock/unlock

1. Take the 12v fog light wire and tap it to pin 85.
2. Take a wire and go from 86 inside the cab and connected to one side of a switch.
3. From the other side of the switch, go to ground.
4. Take a main power wire from the battery and go to pin 30.
5. Take another main power wire and go to pin 87.
