Muffler
Right now I am running a 3" inlet/ 2.5" dual outlet flowmaster 40 series "delta flow" which was supposedly supposed to have less drone, but it doesn't seem to have any less than the other 40 series I've ran before. I even had the muffler placed as far back as possible and the tips going out underneath the bumper. It's not as bas as my old truck but it's still always there.
If you are going to put the magnafloew back on invest in a CAI, even a $50 one made from pvc if you have to. It may give you the little bit louder tone from it that you are looking for while remaining semi quiet (or close to what it was with just the magnaflow) inside. I think you will like it like that much better but its your call there.
I am going to go with a Hooker Aerochamber muffler (either 3"si/so, or 3"in/2.5"dual out) soon. I had a Aerochamber on my 95'TransAm and loved it as well as got compliments on it all the time. It was pretty quiet at idle with a nice low rumble and not obnoxiously loud at WOT, but instead just really aggressive sounding.
