Changing rim size
Thansk alot. Also does anyone know where i can get rims 17x10? Most all 17 i find the widest they go is 9in. i put a leveling kit on it and was wanting to put 33-12.50-17 on it and not sure if the 9in wide rim will be wide enough?
A 33" diameter tire is a 33" diameter tire whether or not it's a 17", 20" or 22" tire. 17" is the smallest that will clear the caliper without modification.
A 9" wide wheel is perfectly fine for a 12.5" tire. Tires should ideally be 3" larger than the wheel it's mounted on with a +/- 1" being in spec, so in other words, a wheel that is anywhere from 8.5" to 10.5" is fine...

one question i was wondering is the width of the rim measured from inside the rim where the tire seals or is it measured outside to outside. cause all i know about my rims is they are 20" rims
