i changed mine out because my thermostat was bad and i thought it was the radiator. put the new radiator in and it didnt fix the problem, therefore the old one was still good.

I paid $195 up here in Canada(stealership wanted $470). I also replaced thermostat cuz Iread some where on here that it was causing the pressure problem (heater core went first).
It was pretty simple to change, start with draining from lower rad hose, then take the overflow tank and wiper fluid tank off. there is about 6 bolts to take out and its out. I missed the rubber mount on the old rad when installing the new rad, it was stuck on the bottom of the old rad( passenger side).
EASY PEAZY JAPANEEZY!

I have the same exact leak on my 97 1500. It seems to be coming from the area of the drain/ endtank. Rock auto sells new ones for $107 http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/rafr...1095746k271614.
