Thanks! They're American Racing Mojave's. I like them and with the teflon coating the mud cleans off easily.

I wondered the same thing about height, parked it next to a buddies 4x4 leveled and mine was taller, not by much but it was.

In regards to blacking out the chrome...I'd love to swap my chrome steps for black, and black the front bumper and grill. It's all on the future mod's list...

Well, the u-bolt came in (says my wife...I am in Tulsa for work).
The new wheels with the correct offset (hopefully) came in yesterday to the shop and the tires are being mounted today. I will pick them up on the way home tomorrow.

I have not been able to drive it at all, so I cannot comment on the ride quality yet. However, from just handling the coils during the install, they are extremely heavy.
I am anxious to run it down the road to see how it handles.

As soon as the rear is done and the new wheels and tires are on, I can start on the Amp Research/Bestop power steps. They are pretty sweet for those not familiar with them.

lifted 2wd guys, what are your fenders at?

anyone running CST springs?

im at 45" with 3" spindles, 3" body, 2" block, coil spacer. i wanna get the CST springs to bring my front up a bit, and depending on how bad they settle a 3" block for the rear.

I want to lift my truck more, I want to trade my truck in, I want new tires. LOL want want want. I just don't like being stuck in a big truck, ya know? I will measure but I think I am 45 as well with 6 inch suspension. I wouldn't mind another 3 with the body, and a 2.5 inch spacer with 2nd gen drop shackles and 12 inches of lift with 37-38 inch tires.

dont expect too much out of the spacer.. i got maybe an inch out of mine. also i dunno if id do coils and spacers if you like your tie rods and ball joints.

I just ordered 3" coils to go with my 2.5" spacers that I currently have...
So the spacers on top of the coils is a big no no? I need the spacer to sit level and the 3" in the front because I am getting 3" in the back with spindles.

IF you can even get the spindle back in id be worried about tie rods/ball joints. thats gonna put you at some crazy angles.

You mean 3" blocks in the back? Honestly, id spend the extra cash and get 3" spindles and 3" coils.. and not have to worry as much about stuff breaking.

this truck had a lift spacer in the front already. the stock isolator was not there, so i had to use the lift spacer when installing this 6" lift.
i didn't have too bad of a time getting the spindle attached to the upper control arm/ball joint. the shocks JUST barely fit though, which is going to equal a harsh ride.

You do coils and spacers if you have. Cross memver drop like me. It creates a like stock set up, and on the stock suspension you can add spacers.
