Long Tubes Installed! (Now with a Video)

Well I finally got around to installing my headers today. The install was not too bad. Started around 1 and got done around 7. Hit a couple snags along the way, biggest was that the bolt hole in the passenger side header didn't line up with one of the holes in the head. After a little modification I managed to get it to work. So now the exhaust system has new LT's, two new high flow cats and 3" piping all the way back to the muffler.
Took her for a ride after everything was done and I have to say that the truck is much louder than before. I am going to have to take the super 40 off bc it sounds like the cutout did before I put the headers on. And now with the LT's, having the cutout open it is deafening. It looks like I am going to have to get a larger muffler so I can have a quite option for when I have the kid in the truck. I was thinking about ordering a magnaflow 12588.
I will try to get some videos for you so you can hear how loud it is now.

You know, for having LT headers and a Cherry Bomb "Extreme" muffler, my truck is not loud at all at idle or when cruising. Now if I touch the gas peddle, thats a whole nuther story.
I think you are on the right track with the long Magnaflow however, cause with the cutout, why would you need or want a loud muffler???

That is pretty much my thinking on this too. There is no real reason to have a loud muffler and a cutout. Prior to the LT's the super 40 wasn't that loud but now it is just too much to have that loud of a muffler as my quiet option.
