Well i just looked and they only have it to for the 4.7 00-03....and I dont think they do, but with him wanting to do cams and stuff...

I guess they are more of a heavier modded tuner? 599.00, they must be better for SOMETHING?

Oh, no argument here, since I am in nowhere near the financial shape to install my cam right now (mainly because of the cost of the tuner and custom tune), I have not been paying attention to whats going on with tuners over the last couple of months.
So I am not up to date on whether SCT or Diablo has support yet.

If not tranny tunes, I contend that the Superchips is still the best option, unless you just absolutely need a custom tune...

 

Ron, Ill get some pics up this evening of the lights. I kinda like Matts HID's better really. I was shootin' for right in between his and mine, as far as the blue tint.

AND, now Im in love with Matt's exhaust too, lol. Gotta b-day coming up next month, don't know what I wanna do for it...... 3rd 'R with the stealth box, rebuild a box for the 2 I have, or revamp the exhaust. Guess that all depends on the $$$'s too, I'm doing good putting gas in the b!tch, lol..

and yea hammer my bad man forgive my stupidity...i thought a superchip was better than a programmer bc of the word "super" ...im new with this programmer/chip/superchip stuff cuz i never needed it for a mustang but damn yea SCT as u say is wayyy outta my budget if its around $500 im looking more in the 250$-300$ range.

But yea man i got a system up in my truck too i got a 12" RockfordFosgate Power T1D2 its a beast and Rockford T500-1bd amp it doesnt sound beast but it is ill put a couple of picks in and i got a custom box to fit in the center of the back seat it fits snugg ill put up a pic later i havent takin any pics of the new box since i got it but ill put up a pic of the old box that i had with the sub i have now...if that makes ne sense lol

 

oh and this is what i was aiming at my truck lookin like with the tires and lift but im guessin thats in the 4000$ range so i doubt im going to have a good chance with this unless they got a garage sale somewhere with the tires and if i can get that lift with spacers haha....i wish

 

That's a fine looking truck right there, and you have good taste as far as what you're shooting for.

And if you didn't need a tuner for your stang, it wasn't modded enough!!!

 

Haha thats a 4.7 with straits...lol just an aftermarket ypipe (the one that joins your pipes from dodge sucks) and duals going strait out the back. I guess I have like 4" rolled tips?

and on the HIDs, the top is 5k the bottom 6k. I got them from a guy named tim, but hes not selling them anymore. As long as you go with a reputable company, the color is going to be the same. Cheap kits sometimes have bulbs that vary in color. Id get 5K if you can

superchips is actually a company, and its a programmer. No chip, its a little computer. That jet chip is a chip, but it gives you almost as much power as a throttle body spacer

 

ok hold up...let me see here...u got 5k does the 5k have a blue tint to it? bc im wanting atleast some blue but not to much blue to over power the bright crystal diamond light look but enough where you can look at it and be look "o **** that dude has bright a$$ diamond lookin headlights...and is that a blueish tint!?!" u kno wat im sayin? ...ur lights tight but im jus sayin its kind of hard to get a clear look at the photo. ughh this would be so much easier to talk about in person. (EDIT: i actually jus got done lookin at a thread bout someone jus hookin up there hid's and he had 8k and they seem purdy but im still not sure)

IF the 5k headlights u got do have a blueish tint im probably going to go with ur setup with the 5k headlights and 6k fog lights. MAYBE juuuust MAYBE 7k fog lights

ok for my next queshh bout the throttle body spacer....u got me interested. Tell me if this would be stupid and a waste of money or if all these things will add up on top of each other and create and provide more and quicker acceleration and power...

-CAI
-Throttle body spacer
-Diablo programmer or superchip

or would those 3 things installed in my truck be worthless and a waste of my money because one of those things equals the amount of power for all those 3 things put together?...

As for the exhaust could i run a Y-Pipe with dual magnaflow straights exhaust and would that sound atleast close to what yours sounds like? and is the bigger the tip size the louder it gets or does the tip size even matter?
