Default Leveling kit causing my steering wheel to wobble?? HELP

Guys, I've noticed for awhile now that when I'm driving that my steering wheel wobbles like crazy. Not to the point that I cant control it but its just annoying. Does that have to be the leveling kit that I put it. Its the 2.5" Top Gun Customs level. I did not add new shocks. Would that solve the problem if I got new shocks?

Have you had the alignment checked? The other thing I would look at is your tie rod ends. You could jack up the tire and pull it left to right and see if you have any excess play in it.

Alignment is perfect. I just had it done a couple of times. I dont have a jack/ nor the driveway to jack it up. My driveway is on a incline. I thought I heard on here that the leveling kits will make a wobble. Not sure though.

The infamous "death wobble" ? I've just learned about it recently myself. Apparently the IFS trucks have a problem with it, stock (I do once I hit 70ish), but is drastically worsened in some cases with a level. As far as I know, there is no fix for it, just a flaw in the design.....

Personally, its kinda scary if you hit the right bump, in a curve, puckers that a$$hole quick, lol

I never had it before the level. Mines not bad at all. But just annoying.

Technically the "Death Wobble" is an issue associated with the 2500 SFA trucks. However many, many guys with Dodge 1500 coil over 4x4s (06+), report the issue after installing coil spacers. Some never have the issue at all and I dont think anybody has come up with a good reason for it.
Many guys have had it to the point that they gave up trying to rectify it and took the spacers back out...

Height wise you'll be fine, now I'm not familiar with the Rockstars, but if the offset is negative and the backspacing is decent, the 12.5" width should not be a problem either, I'm not as familiar with the '06+ coil overs as I am with the torsion bar trucks, but I think you'll be ok...

Thanks for clearing up my whoops ^ there Hammer. I'm still learning.

I'm thinking my problem is with alignment issues, as it hasn't always been like this. I have a HORRIBLE driveway to go up and down everyday to work. All kinds of dips and ditches and **** going through it. I have had the tendancy to go a little "faster" then I probably should, bouncing my truck all around. I'm sure Ive knocked something off, as my tires have developed cupping issues, bad. Cupping + wobbling = alignment issues?

Not trying to 'jack your thread EJM, just trying to get some more edumacation. Now I really don't know how much I want to level my truck, kinda not worth the work, even if you could get your money back out of the kit....

4.7, For your cupping, I think you may have a bad shock. If your shock is bad, it'll cause the tire to hop while you're driving down the road possibly giving you cupping issues. If you have a wobbling issue, that may be corrected if your replace the shocks and keep those tires on the ground where they're supposed to be. Then get 'er aligned and see if that helps. Make sure your other components up front are ok before you get it aligned. Check your balljoints and tie rod ends. Midas well replace 'em if they're bad before you get it aligned. Just a few thoughts.
