Default Cab Roof Light Issue

So after a good rain last night i have noticed that my cab lights are leaking...it did this about a week ago and i resealed and seemed fine...not so much after last night....so much that i had a very small amount of water com in to the cab. i dropped the headliner and wiped up the few drips of water. i contacted recon and they said theyll have some sent in the mail today, just get them a tracking # and they will have the new ones sent out. so i just got done yanking them off my roof, now i have 15 holes in my roof lol. so what should i use to plug them up for the weekend? just some more silicone and rip it off when i get the new ones?

Silicone is your only option, cause pulling it in the garage sure wont work!!!

it sure doesnt! i dont even have a garage. my garage is more of a shop thats filled with mine and my roomates tools. im in college, or id be looking to add on to our house a 10ft tall garage with more than enough room to work on it in the garage....thats after i get out of college though lol.... just to give you an ide of how high it sits...i was in a parking garage thing yesterday that i fit in...the bar that was hanging down was 8'2" and i cleared it by 2-3 inches...so im just about 8' maybe 7'11"

silicone be your best bet I guess. Never had a hint of a leak from mine, but they will fog up pretty good after a heavy rain and when it's real humid...

on a side note, how do you work on the top of your truck? I can't do mine and I am 7'2" in height. (the truck that is) and ME I am 6'6" I can't hardly reach the center of the Roof to do the silicon. Any pointers would be great.
