This is probably going to sound like a stupid question.. But how do I remove them? I have never messed with the rear suspension on trucks much..

unbolt them from the leafs and frame of the truck. then bolt the leafs back on to where the shackles were bolted to the frame.
wait for someone to confirm that they are indeed drop shackles... i always thought drop shackles went each end of the leafs.

Well that doesn't sound too bad.. Looks easy enough.. But doesn't it always look easy?

Yeah.. HOPEFULLY I have a torx that big laying around the garage.. and yeah PB Blaster frees anything up lol. Will I need to have it jacked up or anything when I do this? I imagine having it jacked up on jackstands but will I have to remove the shocks?

shouldnt have to remove the shocks but you will have to support the frame somehow so you can get the shackle out of there. then you will have to either lower the truck down on the spring or jack the axle up to the spring... i would suggest lowering the truck onto the spring because you might need to use the weight of the truck to compress the spring a little and line up the holes. shocks can stay on... they will keep the axel from dropping too much just in case.
but again, make sure those are indeed lift shakles... pretty sure they are..
