but again, make sure those are indeed lift shakles... pretty sure they are..

any way to for sure know? I posted with pics of them on another thread and didn't really seem to get any hits..

I leveled my truck today and my rear measurements were just over 40" in the rear on both fenders. My shackles look the same as yours and my rear end is 100% stock.

Do your wheel look to be in about the same position as mine in the wheelwell?

Looks like. I am running a 285 tires which when new are about 32" so we are about the same height.

A buddy of mine also has an 03 and I was talking with him last night and he shot a picture of his rear shackles and they looked to be the same length and setup as mine. Maybe they changed something in the rear susp at some point?

you have one saying it "might" not be stock, and about 50 that say it is stock. how many more people do you need to tell you your rear end is stock before you decide its stock?

Well excuse me for asking questions. This thread led to people saying I may have lift shackles and that was completely off topic from this thread. I posted one with the correct title asking a question with the pics. It's not my fault that this thread has kept coming back. But I don't know how the rear end is supposed to be stock and I was always tought that you learn by asking questions. Sorry just thought that maybe I should post the result on this that was still unclear on another thread with the correct title.

Sorry, been up at the farm tryin' to get in some spec (crappie) fishin, but the winds have been blowing a steady 25-35 which makes it just a royal PIA. So I been noodlin' for cats instead (see Outdoor Section).

The CV angles look ok to me, YES they are increased slightly which will put a tad more wear on them and increase the chance of splitting a boot. There is a trade off for the height, you just got to find a good point for the lift you want and not get too extreme with the CV angle...

Hey man my appologies. I didnt intend for my comment to come across so abrasive. Yes, you're definitely entitled to ask any and all questions you want without getting flamed for them. I should have rephrased my response.
