Hi, I just bought an 05 ram that is all white. I mean white everything....bumper, mirrors, door handles, everything. I want to break it up a little. I want to switch it to a chrome steel bumper, with the white upper plastic piece. Will the standard chrome bumper fit? Is the sport package compatible? Thanks for any help!

 

i dont know the answer to your question but i can tell you this.. you can sell your sport bumper on here in a heart beat. they are super popular, and everybody wants them.

 

where are you located? there are probably quite a few guys on here with the chrome bumper that will trade you for yours..
if you trade the WHOLE bumper it will fit... if you dont then i dont think it will because the sport is a cover over the chrome...

 

I'm pretty sure the metal bumper behind the sport valence is different than the SLT one. What color is the truck? If the truck is white I say leave the bumper, most of us on here are against chrome except for a few (cough cough Hammer lol) post a few pics up of your baby and let us see her.

If you plan on keeping the stock wheels the chrome SLT would look good imo, I would be willin to trade ya mine but I do have a small dent in the bumper plus shipping would be outrageous prolly. You would also have to have the bumper valence painted either black like ya said or to match your white.

wow, he even has the mirrors and door handles painted... he and silver will get along well
DONT put a chrome bumper on there... you got a really cool whiteout theme goin there (sorry to the guys who are gunna try to snag that bumper)

 

yeah i would def leave it like that.. dont put the chrome bumper on there it will ruin that truck! my opinion!

 

Keep the white. Im about to get all my chrome powder coated white.
