Default Radio Problems??? AND I am Stumped

Hey all its been a bit since I posted but had this problem for the last couple of weeks and finally wanted to ask for some help. So here goes folks!

I usually always leave my radio on when I shut it off so when I start up it is already on and the problem I have is on start up most of the time. When I start my truck and the radio comes on it will blair static noise well over the level I had it set when I turn it off and I have to turn the radio off and when I turn it back on there will be no static or it will continue to play static so I turn off and on and it goes away. Anyone know what might cause this sort of problem.

Also sometimes instead of the static problem my back door speakers will not come on with the rest of the radio and it takes a shut off and on a couple times to get them to come back on is this along the lines of same problem or am I looking at 2 different problems

Thank you all for your inputs.

Don't know much about car stereos but it sounds like it's time for a new one. They're inexpensive and very easy to install.

Disconnect the ground from your battery and reconnect after a few minutes! Had that issue with the wifes durango (Infinity system) and it has been fine ever since. Worth a try!

Little more info yes it has the infinity system even tho it has never fully worked since the day I got it lol
I will be replacing the stereo this summer as one of my plans but for now I would just like it to work without problems since it will have to make do for a couple of months. NJFF I will give the old battery trick a test to see if it works so thank you
And does anyone know of a good diagram for how to take off the radio bezel to check wiring and such or a link to a site that has them

First, remove the panel below the steering wheel (two screws above the pedals),
then the center bezel around the radio has one screw in the grocery hook and seven clips. once you remove the screw go around in a circle pulling out the clips and then take the bezel off.

The radio is held in with screws that are easy to figure out once you get that far.
