Wow, that's awesome. I'm sure this helps produce more power, but does it effect fuel efficiency?

The stock plugs help with emissions which was the downfall in the early 70's,

Hey everyone, I just got back from test driving the Ram (two hours away). The truck is very basic... no power windows, no power door locks, manual 4X4 shifter, and no anti theft device. The truck is in nice shape, but has small scratches randomly across the body. I believe that I can buff most of them out, but I'm not sure how I overlooked them before today. It runs very smooth, rides smooth, no noises or problems... My step dad felt that wear-and-tear was pretty low, and at 63,338 miles, it would be very reliable. I felt that the price was a little steep with its basic features, and offered the guy $9,500. He thought about it and declined. He then said that he wanted at least $11,000, and I offered $10,000 as my limit. He said he will keep it in mind and see if he gets anymore interest... It's been for sale since Thanksgiving, so I'll be surprised if he doesn't call back. Thanks again for all of the help and look for me around the message boards.

Nice find, that thing is like an exact replica of mine! If mine were 4x4 with the Hemi that is. If you can talk the guy down to 10k power to ya but I doubt it. The price he has on it is pretty nice, also just a heads up I was on Summit Racing's site for a few hours snoopin around and you can buy a power window and power lock kit for these trucks for less than 500 bucks for the two.

Did you ever hear back from him about your offer?

It should be an SLT if that shows up on the sheet. I'm not sure what the SXT package included back in 04. Might just be a sticker on the bed. In 08, anything above a ST has power windows and such.
Yes, 3.55 is the standard gear for a 4x4. 3.21 for a 2wd. 3.92 was a popular option.

I don't know where you get 11K for a very basic ram Hemi 4x4 with 63K miles is a good price. I have seen fully stocked 4x4 05 and 06 hemis for sale around here for anywhere between 9K to 11K.

That's what I was thinking too. I love the truck, but just feel that 11k is a little steep, especially for the area.

Nothing yet. I didn't expect anything right away. I'll give him this week, and then shoot him an email reminding him of my offer.
