Try swapping the order that the green and yellow are connected, like which tab their connected to. Since your green is a constant 12v it's prolly going through the terminal on the switch that powers the led.

I just did the wire switch and that fixed the problem

You can't run them individually with the instructions that are provided. You must run a different set up to accomplish this. I just have mine tied into the low beam and the switch power on and off. I don't like the idea of having them on with the high beam. Not at all.

The blue wire in one of the first pictures you showed thats coming off off of the light itself I just stripped about an inch and a half and wrapped around the bolt closest to it from the cross member. Just loosened it, wrapped around, then tightened down again.

Really clean install and fairly simple. I have no wiring experience either but this came out really awesome and love my lights.

 

I'm just glad I could help, I did mine not too long ago so it was still fresh in my mind. As for the beer I would gladly accept it but just don't get caught as you would be supplying a minor with alcohol. Theres prolly good and bad things about there being so many younger guys on here but o well, for the most part we all get along and help each other out. Btw I still got four freakin years before I can drink legally, damn government restricts everything lol. That doesn't say I haven't had a sip or two.
