Default stereo question?

i have a 2003 ram 1500 quad cab 4x4 Laramie edition and i was wondering if there is a separate amp or is it in the deck itself? because i was going to get speakers and a deck, and if i dont have to put in a amp that would be awesome? otherwise ill just throw some new speakers in it. anyone know about this?

If you have the Infinity setup, there is a separate amp under the dash (I think it's behind the glovebox somewhere).

Is it the infinity system? If so, it has an amp! If not then no amp.
