I never use it when not towing. I never use it when just towing my small trailer with or without my bike, atv, or golf cart loaded on it (usually not going very far with those anyway). I ALWAYS use it when towing my RV. Part of it is the load and part of it is running around at higher RPM, but my mileage goes from around 18 on the highway to between 10 and 11 when towing with tow/haul engaged.

Maybe I'll try it next time that frickin Saturn pulls up next to me at a light and runs parallel with me to the next light when I'm givin it all I got. Still can't believe a GD saturn kept pace with my hemi. I hope this superchips helps. LOL

lol what?

I havent really raced anyone since I got the 35s which is fnny bc all the kids I used to whoop would stand a better chance now, but a saturn? Lol

Also, your mileage is also gonna be going down bc you're pulling an RV man. haha. Can't attribute ALL of that to just having Tow/Haul on

LOL, I said some is the load and some is tow/haul mode. No way you can run around in tow/haul mode and not lose mileage. But I haven't done it without towing, so I don't know how much.

And, I wasn't racing and wasn't expecting the car next to me to be trying to race me. I was just making my exhaust growl a little because it was still new to me and the Saturn in the lane next to me hammered it. So, I hammered it more and couldn't pull past them. Not only a Saturn, but a plain jane saturn sedan, with 2 people in it. WTF right?

The new RAM commercial says "Hemi with MDS to give you up to 20mpg highway". I get 18 on my pre-MDS hemi on the highway. Been able to get more than that at the right speeds and driving style. Did they seriously put that crap on the Hemi to squeeze and extra mpg or two? Glad I don't have it, and if I did, it would be turned off.

I really like the MDS, I got 21 MPG on the way to work this morning, all highway. I am installing MDS light so I can learn to baby it even more for highway driving. To be honest I can't tell when its on or off, not sure why so many people complain about it.

Never driven one, just going by what I've read here. Apparently, some guys here it and/or feel it and don't like it, especially with louder than stock exhaust. Harley Davidson has a ECU download that will cut out 1 of the 2 cylinders when it gets overheated (aircooled ya know?). I don't have it but guys that do hate it because it's really un-nerving when you are sitting on the bike and it kicks in.

But, all that technology for just an extra mpg or 3 seems crazy to me. But I guess it adds up and allows them to claim a truck that gets 20mpg vs. less than that.
