I used to use it a lot more before I was able to control all of my shifts with the Superchips. Now that I have been able to make a custom shift table I really don't use it unless I am actually hauling a large load of lumber.

I live in Costa Rica 900 meters altitude .
Leaving the house going to work i need to go up hill imediatly and with the normal shifting pattern it just doens,t accelrate.
I drive allmost all day in tow/haul or even with the overdrive switched off.
I do not notice any difference in fuel consumption

I think I am correct in saying that in Tow/Haul the torque converter will not lock up. I hauled a trailer up north and back with 6 jetskis and 6 minibikes on it and the way up I used the tow/haul and on the way home I did not. I got almost 2mpg better with the tow haul OFF. It is easier to tow with it on, but it will stay out of OD forever when getting up to highway speed.

Can you have it on and turn it on while on the highway?
