I mounted them right on the frame of the bumper and drilled a hole for the screw to provide the support. Very satisfied with the quality of the HID's. I too have had HID's in the heads but not fogs for a good amount of time. Glad I got the HID's in the fogs to match!

Hell, I just tucked the ballasts way on in the bumper frame, thats it, lol. I got'em from HIDextra too, 8000k's. I like'em. Little bluer than I was going for, but still pretty nice. I could almost use them as my driving lights at night, 'till you get to the real dark roads. But, the fuzz won't let that happen, lol

If you're talk about the blue film, I peeled mine off. It's just a scratch protector.

I ordered the 5000K and really like them. The only issue I had was yesterday, my passenger side headlight went out.. Don't know what happened but by lunch it started working again. Could have been the 15 degree weather. I checked all connections and made sure everything was tight. Didn't happen this morning, so it may have been a loose connection. I may pick up some electric grease tonight just in case.

Ron

Question for you guys - On the fog HIDs, is it necessary to wire in any resistors or anything like the headlights? I don't suppose the fogs give a "lamp out" message....

Thanks. Also, isn't there a code we can give to get a discount from them? I was thinking of getting the 3000K HIDs.....the yellow really cuts through the fog, etc.
